As a child, he became close to Artists like Dufy, Leprin, Lagar.
A pupil of Othon Friesz at the "Grande Chaumière", he met Kisling,
Leger, Zadkine.
Painter of real life, faithful to Honfleur, fascinated by water, he paints beaches,
harbours, coastlines. His pure and simple world gives way to an infinite and poetic idyll.
He follows in the footsteps of the Great Impressionist painters of the last century and he
gives us this message : " today, I know that there are some things that cannot be
learned : the gesture which suggests an emotion by line, depth and colour. The greater the
strength of the emotion , the less able one is to control the gesture... I paint what I
see and what I am".
